On 03rd May 2023 Seshadripuram First Grade College Institution Innovation Council in Association with Post Graduate Department of Commerce & Management visited GKVK Incubation Centre.

An enriching day spent exploring the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. Students had the opportunity to learn about the various facilities and services provided to support start-ups and entrepreneurs and got inspired to turn our own ideas into reality.

Outbound Training Activity - 2018

The students of First year M.Com had a wonderful outbound training activity at Orion Mail.

The students had a field visit to the mall on 29th December 2018 to know the pulse of the mall shop marketing and customer preference.

Prof. Ramesh Kumar took the initiative of organising the event.

One Day Orientation Program(2018)

A one day orientation program was conducted by Glisten Pvt. Solutions for the 1st year M.Com & M.Com (FA) on 19th of September 2018.

The program made the students participate and get them involved in lot of activities as well as was a good team building session, along with exploration of the campus.

The Happiness Program: An Art of Living Initiative (2016)

Modern day students' life is one full of stress and mostly unwanted mental turbulence. It is in this jumbled mind state that life is approached with which eventually drops the graph of the student in not just academics but with respect to every aspect of one's life. The Happiness Program which is also known as YES+ (Youth Empowerment Skills) was thus conducted by an Art of Living teacher for the students of M.Com batch 2016-17. The teacher Mr. Ram helped the students to imbibe a fitness regime in the form of Yoga as well as aided in cleansing a cluttered mind in the form of meditation, patterned and rhythmic breathing techniques as well as the renowned "Sudharshana Kriya" in the program that lasted in its full swing for a whole week. Redeeming one's own mind to act in a peaceful and organized manner at all situations was a marvel that most of them experienced in this one week of the program. The final phase of the program witnessed all students being taken to the Art Of Living Ashram in Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru to merely experience the gravity with which the volunteer based organization piloted by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar, is working to bring in world peace and to accomplish the motto of Vasudeva Kutumbakam ie., "One World One Family". Despite being a week long break from academics, the amount of value addition that was done in the one week of the program was immense with its positivity sure to reverberate in everyone's life for a long time to come.

Makalidurga (2015)

Makalidurga is a hill fort situated near the village of the same name. It is 60km north of Bangalore and 10km after Doddaballapura on the way to Gauribidanur. The Out-Bound training program for M.Com Batch 2015-17 was organized on 12/09/2015 to Makalidurga under the leadership of Mr. Sunand Sampath from I-Quest Solutions. It was a one-day trip involving a short trek and halt on the hill top wherein students were engaged in various team building activities. It was a part of orientation program which helped the students know their counterparts better and build confidence. It was so planned to bring out the best in students outside the normal classroom atmosphere, where students got to practically explore and understand concepts like interpersonal skills, social skills, leadership skills etc. which is much needed as adults of today.

Nandi Hills (2014)

Nandi Hills is an ancient hill fortress in southern India, in the Chikkabalapur district of Karnataka state. It is 10km from Chikkabalapur town and approximately 60km from the city of Bengaluru. The Out-Bound training program for M.Com Batch 2014-16 was organized on 20/08/2014 to Nandi Hills under the leadership of Dr. Vatsala Gururaj, Director of Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Management, SFGC.
